Laura’s enthusiasm for the cannabis and hemp industry led her to co-found Cannaboss Circle, a women’s organization that supports the collective advancement of feminine leadership in the space. She’s also the co-founder of A Dope Conference Co., which produced the Microscopes & Machines conference, the first event ever to bring together leaders in the medical science field and innovators building the next generation of manufacturing to scale the industry.
Her goal is to elevate cannabis perceptions, normalize usage and create business practices in harmony with the plant.
Ben is a consultant who advises companies in marketing and growth strategy, with a specialty in market research and consumer intelligence. He works with businesses around the world and across a number of diverse industries, including cannabis, health and wellness, media and entertainment, travel and tourism, food and beverage, and consumer packaged goods.
In addition to his founding role at Oasis, Ben is a managing director at RedSky Strategy, a boutique consultancy created from the merger of RedSky Insights and QC Strategy, a firm he founded in 2012. RedSky combines full in-house research and analytics capabilities with a focus on real human motivations and insight.
Before founding QC Strategy, Ben began his career at Monitor Group, a top-five global strategy firm now part of Deloitte; he also previously worked as an independent Senior Business Strategist with the leading advertising agency TBWA\Chiat\Day.
Anthony is a Founder of RedSky Strategy, a sister company to Oasis Intelligence that focuses on industries outside of Cannabis and Hemp. Previously he was a Partner at Effective Brands and a Senior Consultant/Case Team Leader at Monitor Company, where he concentrated on marketing and brand Strategy, particularly in the areas of global brand development and implementation, market segmentation, buying processes and stakeholder engagement. His focus is on health and wellness in addition to financial services
Before joining Monitor, Anthony worked for Ogilvy and Mather Worldwide as a Partner, Associate Account Planning Director and for Leo Burnett, South Africa as an Account Planner. An accomplished speaker who has presented at a number of international conferences, he is also a registered NYC Tour Guide
Anthony has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Business Science (with first-class honors) from the University of Cape Town.
Rebecca joined RedSky Strategy in January 2013 after running R2Consulting, her own consulting practice, for four years. Prior to consulting, Rebecca worked in brand management, most recently as a Product Director at Johnson & Johnson along with stints at Pfizer and Novartis. She enjoys helping businesses accomplish their goals by focusing on growth, marketing strategy and new product innovation. Her focus is on health and wellness, consumer packaged goods and food and beverage industries.
Rebecca loves the challenges inherent in developing new categories and has expertise in Rx to OTC switches. She obtained her MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Science (Magna Cum Laude) from the Pennsylvania State University.
Patrick has a scientific approach to market research and consumer insights, firmly believing that the answers lay within the data. He holds an a M.Sc in Applied Psychology from The University of Southern California where he specialized in quantitative research methodologies and consumer psychology. Patrick continually seeks a deeper understanding of the drivers behind consumer behavior and to bridge the gap between psychology and marketing insights.

With nearly 20 years experience, Hilary Craven is the Founder and Chief Marketing Officer of marketing company, Sidecar and comes from several high profile advertising shops including 72andSunny. There she developed and implemented the brand and communication strategy for several blue chip companies including Sonos, Tillamook, Activision, Samsung, Nike, Google, Target and Diageo in addition to launching the experiential practice of the agency. Since its inception Sidecar has consulted for several of the most influential and innovative cannabis brands including dosist, deemed by Fast Company as one of the world’s most innovative companies.
Her entrepreneurial and leadership experience has allowed her to now act as an advisor for c- level executives and venture capitalists looking for support in brand identity, articulation and global communication strategy. She is energized around applying her knowledge to this evolving category and continuing to create work that resonates in culture in new and relevant ways.
Stuart Silverman M.D. is a rheumatology physician, cannabis clinician and researcher in private practice who is a clinical Professor at both Cedars Sinai Medical Center and the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. He is a faculty member of the UCLA Cannabis Research Initiative. He has spoken on the topic of cannabis at venues ranging nationally from Princeton University to locally at TEC-Leimert and giving Grand Rounds on cannabis at both Cedars Sinai and UCLA. He is the author of over 200 peer reviewed original papers. He has served as director of the Cedars Sinai outpatient Fibromyalgia Rehab program and Acting Chief of Rheumatology at West Los Angeles VA Medical Center.
He has served on the Scientific Advisory Board of Kalytera Pharma, which is developing CBD and cannabinoids for treatment of disease, and has worked with Niamedic, an Israeli healthcare and research company specialized in integrating medical cannabis treatments.
He is part of a diversity initiative at UCRI and has started qualitative research on the cannabis journey in different racial/ethnic groups as well as working with UCRI on educational initiatives. He has received the Health Network Service Excellence award for his clinical research and practice which include chronic pain, fibromyalgia and osteoporosis.
He is a graduate of Princeton University, Johns Hopkins medical school and completed his medical training in internal medicine at Boston University. He is board certified in internal medicine, rheumatology and immunology. In his rheumatology practice he helps patients with rheumatologic conditions with chronic pain. He helps patients decrease opioid dependence with use of cannabis and both pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic management.
