Anonymized and aggregated information and analysis may be made public where desired by Oasis. We will send you announcements related to the Website(s) and the Service on occasions when it is necessary to do so. For instance, if our Website(s) and the Service are temporarily suspended for maintenance, we might send you an email. 

Data Security 

Oasis will protect the confidentiality of its customers’ information, account information and personal communications to the fullest extent possible and consistent with the law and the legitimate interests of Oasis, its partners, its employees and other customers of Oasis’ services. To protect the loss, misuse, and alteration of information that is collected from customers, Oasis has appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures in place. 

The Website(s) and the Service have industry standard security measures in place to protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control. When you provide us with sensitive information (such as credit card information or login credentials), we will encrypt that information via Secure Socket Layer (SSL).

Opt Out & Modifications 

Customers may opt out of receiving notices of new or upgraded products from Oasis by sending a request to privacy@oasisintelligence.com.  However, customers may not opt out of receiving information from Oasis which is essential for maintaining or updating customers’ accounts or system information.

Disclosure of customer information and communications 

Oasis will not otherwise disclose its customers’ personal and account information unless Oasis has reason to believe that disclosing such information is necessary to identify, make contact with, or bring legal action against someone who may be causing harm or interfering with the rights or property of Oasis, Oasis’ customers, or others, or where Oasis has a good faith belief that the law requires such disclosure. 

Do Not Track

Do Not Track (“DNT”) is an optional browser setting that allows you to express your preferences regarding tracking by advertisers and other third parties. 

Social Media Features 

Our Website(s) include social media features, such as the Facebook “Like” button, the “Share This” button or interactive mini-programs. Where we have your consent, these features may collect your IP address, which page you are visiting on our Website(s), and may set a cookie to enable the feature to function properly. Social media features and widgets are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our Website(s). Your interactions with these features are governed by the privacy policy of the company providing them.

Oasis does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 18. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (CCPA), Consumers have the following rights:

  • The Right to Access Personal Information Oasis has collected about you. This includes the categories of personal information we collect about you, the sources of that personal information, the business or commercial purpose for collecting your personal information, the categories of third parties with whom we share your personal information, and the specific personal information collected about you.
  • The Right to Request Deletion of Personal Information Oasis has collected about you, unless we need to retain the Personal Information to: provide goods or services to you, detect or resolve security or functionality issues, comply with the law, conduct research in the public interest, safeguard the right to free speech or carry out actions for internal purposes as you might reasonably expect to deliver the Service.
  • The Right to Non-Discrimination. If you choose to exercise your rights under CCPA, we will not deny you goods or services, charge you different prices for goods or services either through denying benefits or imposing penalties, provide you with a different level or quality of goods or services to you or threaten you with any of the prior actions. 

To exercise your Right to Access or Right to Delete Personal Information above, please submit a Verifiable Consumer Request to use by either:

 

Only you, or a person registered with the California Secretary of State that you authorize to act on your behalf, may make a Verifiable Consumer Request related your Personal Information. You may also make a Verifiable Consumer Request on behalf of your minor child. 

 

You may only make a Verifiable Consumer Request for Access to Delete twice within a 12-month period. The Verifiable Consumer Request must: 

  • Provide sufficient information that allows us to reasonably verify you are the person about whom we collected Personal Information or an authorized representative. 
  • Describe your request with sufficient detail that allows us to properly understand, evaluate and respond to it. 

We cannot respond to your request or provide you with Personal Information if we cannot verify your identity or authority to make the request and confirm the Personal Information relates to you. 

Making a Verifiable Consumer Request does not require you to create an account with us. However, we do consider requests made through your password protected account to be sufficiently verified when the request relates to Personal Information associated with that specific account. 

We will only use personal information provided in a Verifiable Consumer Request to verify the requestor’s identity or authority to make the request. 

A business subject to California Civil Code section 1798.83 is required to disclose to its California customers, upon request, the identity of any third parties to whom the business has disclosed personal information within the previous calendar year, along with the type of personal information disclosed, for the third parties’ direct marketing purposes. Please note that under California law, businesses are only required to respond to a customer request once during any calendar year.

In addition, a business subject to California Business and Professions Code Section 22581 must allow California residents under age 18 who are registered users of online sites, services or applications to request and obtain removal of content or information they have publicly posted. Your request should include a detailed description of the specific content or information to be removed. Please be aware that your request does not guarantee complete or comprehensive removal of content or information posted online and that the law may not permit or require removal in certain circumstances.
